we started out our weekend last night at the d bar. who knew a "ham and cheese" would really be mini pickles, grape leaves, nuts, niblets of cheese and three small pieces of salami? i did meet kara's friend david, however, which made the dinner experience more pleasurable. he seems great. he even said if he "finds a partner" he would consider moving to western mass. hopefully our paths will meet out there.
tonight we are having some people over and tomorrow is our "date night." i don't want kara to have high expectations because it will not be comparable to the wine cellar. that is the problem with having a really amazing date because the next might not seem as nice. my fingers are crossed.
oh and sunday is the boston folk festival. fun stuff. i simply love our weekends together. so much to look forward to.
